This Certified Arborist Tree Climber position is responsible for pruning and tree removals on both residential, commercial, and municipal properties.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $30.00 to $49.00 based on experience.
• Time and a half pay for hours worked over 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute tree trimming and removals utilizing safety belts, saddles, climbing lines, or bucket trucks.
• Operate and conduct basic maintenance on equipment including chainsaws, hand-powered saws, and articulating skid steers.
• Survey and evaluate job sites to ensure the work area is safe from hazards such as powerlines and utilities.
• Lower removed branches and trees safely to the ground using rigging lines.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Arborist Certification.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least one full year of rope and saddle climbing experience, including DRT and SRT.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds to shoulder height and comfortably climb at least 40 feet up a tree.
• Must not be afraid of heights and must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Possess strong mechanical inclination and a safety-conscious, team-oriented mindset.
