Our client is seeking a customer-focused Local CDL Delivery Driver to join their team for a hands-on, outdoor role. The primary objective is to provide professional delivery services, ensure the safe transportation and care of plant materials, and support the yard team. This position offers a steady schedule of 40+ hours per week, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with seasonal Saturday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. between April 1st and October 1st.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plant material safely and efficiently to customer sites.
• Prepare plant material carefully for customer deliveries.
• Load plant material securely into company trucks.
• Maintain the delivery fleet and associated equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Unload and process incoming plant shipments in the nursery yard.
• Plant, pot, and maintain container-grown shrubs, trees, and perennials.
• Assist the team with harvesting field-grown trees as needed.

Requirements

• Possess a valid CDL Class A license with an air brakes endorsement (Required).
• Demonstrate the ability to safely lift heavy materials on a regular basis.
• Exhibit the physical ability to work outdoors effectively in all weather conditions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining highly detail-oriented.
• Possess a strong work ethic and maintain a positive attitude.
• Bring prior plant knowledge (Preferred, but not required).
• Speak Spanish (Beneficial, but not essential for the role).
