The Lawn Care Supervisor will oversee lawn maintenance operations for residential and commercial clients, taking on a leadership role responsible for day-to-day management, supervising multiple crews, and driving both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and support lawn care crews to ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, routing, workload distribution, and inventory management.
- Ensure proper application of lawn treatments, such as fertilizers, weed control, and insect control, in compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections and property evaluations to identify turf conditions, pests, and improvement opportunities, while serving as a point of escalation for customer inquiries.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing training to team members, mentoring Foremen and Technicians to support their professional growth.
- Promote and recommend additional services to existing clients to support business growth and handle significant sales and service aspects.
- Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and care of equipment and company vehicles, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, alongside a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in lawn care or landscaping operations.
- Prior supervisory, lead, or management experience, coupled with a strong working knowledge of lawn care treatments, turf health, and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of clean driving history and experience operating trucks up to 1 ton.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check; as a DOT employer, medicinal marijuana use is strictly prohibited for those driving company vehicles.
- Ability and willingness to obtain a commercial pesticide license within a reasonable timeframe, which the company will pay for.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with strong communication and customer service abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
