Responsibilities
- Spearhead business development efforts by meticulously tracking weekly sales pipelines and actively prospecting new leads.
- Pitch and secure profitable contracts for landscape enhancements, routine maintenance, plant healthcare, and seasonal snow management solutions.
- Design and deliver compelling, comprehensive project proposals directly to customers through in-person presentations.
- Oversee enhancement projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing strict adherence to profitability margins, project timelines, and overall client satisfaction.
- Direct, mentor, and train field crews while collaborating seamlessly with the Operations Manager to facilitate critical safety and operational training.
- Lead direct reports with a high level of accountability to ensure that all company and client expectations are consistently met.
Requirements
- Proven professional background serving as an Account Manager within the commercial or residential landscape maintenance industry.
- Demonstrated success in nurturing existing client relationships while simultaneously converting sales leads into new business revenue.
- Comprehensive foundational knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, property enhancements, plant healthcare, and winter snow management operations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with a diverse new and existing customer base.
- Strong leadership capabilities backed by a track record of successfully supervising, training, and managing performance for direct reports.
- High confidence and technical proficiency in preparing project proposals and pitching them face-to-face.
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000 - $90,000 base salary, commensurate with prior experience.
