The Project Manager will direct up to four field teams, driving safety, quality, and efficiency while ensuring production volume and gross profit goals are achieved. Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage up to four installation teams, overseeing daily job planning, scheduling, and execution for custom brick pavers, retaining walls, and outdoor lighting projects.
  • Oversee the construction of high-end custom hardscape applications, including outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pizza ovens, pillars, and seat walls.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by holding field team members accountable to strict safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to review sold jobs, develop comprehensive construction plans, and identify material or equipment requirements.
  • Manage project logistics and administrative duties, including material requisitions, purchase orders, time tracking, work orders, and subcontractor scheduling.
  • Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and coach field team members on proper installation techniques to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Operate various types of heavy machinery and mechanical equipment proficiently, including skid loaders, excavators, and truck-and-trailer combinations.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in landscaping or hardscaping construction, paired with at least one year of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
  • Working knowledge of standard construction practices, horticultural practices, basic plumbing/piping, and low-voltage electricity.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate manual and automatic vehicles, dump trucks, and heavy equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, math, and job planning skills to effectively hit production volume and gross profit targets.
  • Valid Chauffeur’s License and Medical Card, First Aid/CPR certification, and an ICPI (International Concrete Paver Institute) Certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.


Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience
