St. Clair Shores, MI landscaping company is currently searching for a full-time, year-round Irrigation Foreman. This position is responsible for leading a team of irrigation technicians in irrigation installation, irrigation system maintenance, and landscape lighting installation. The position also requires participation in winter snow and ice management operations.

This position is a non-management position. Hourly compensation, health care benefits, paid PTO

days and retirement savings plan are available for this position.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 2+ years in the irrigation industry leading irrigation teams
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Competitive nature and a drive to excel
• Proficient with common computer software programs and a willingness to learn industry specific software
• Chauffeur’s license
• Well organized and an understanding of the importance of punctuality and attendance
• Requires prolonged standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, digging and lifting
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Working knowledge of 2-Wire systems
• Ability to program, monitor and adjust computer-controlled irrigation systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will be required to install, adjust, repair, replace and troubleshoot irrigation and lighting systems
• Will operate appropriate machinery (trencher, track loader, etc.) as needed on job sites
• To engage with clients to explain issues with system and get approval for repairs/replacement
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity goals set by the company
• Accurately input all job-related data into the company’s App
• Continually participate in training programs that relate to your field
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
