Vacuum Truck Driver & Operator

This premier specialized construction support position focuses on driving and operating industrial equipment to maintain critical water systems. The Vacuum Truck Operator will be responsible for completing tasks like hydro-excavation and cleaning catch basins, directly impacting environmental compliance and local water quality.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate trucks and specialized equipment, ensuring thorough pre-trip preparations and post-trip clean-up.
  • Perform hydro-excavation and comprehensively clean catch basins, manholes, and crawl spaces.
  • Travel regionally overnight approximately 2 to 4 days per week.
  • Conduct all duties safely and maintain strict safety awareness at all times.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by executing all tasks in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Act as a proactive team player who leads by example in the field.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent work experience as a CDL Class B driver, with industrial vacuum truck experience highly preferred.
  • Valid CDL Class B license with the ability to acquire a DOT health card and maintain an insurable status under the company's auto policy.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.
  • Proficiency with mobile technology, including iPads, laptops, and email.
  • Ability to pass a Safety-Sensitive DOT regulated drug screening, which strictly requires the inclusion of marijuana testing.
